Florian is still affiliated with Max-Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken, Germany but recently joined SAP SE.At SAP he has his head in the clouds, while at MPI he was doing Internet measurements, looking at DNS, BGP and inter-domain routing in general.
He will finally finish his PhD this year, and is happy to have been (and to continue to be) part of the RIPE community.
