IPv6 Tutorial

This short tutorial will explain the need for IPv6 and the fundamentals of the protocol. You’ll hear about distribution hierarchy of IPv6 addresses, subnetting IPv6 prefixes, protocol basics and how your host gets IPv6 addresses. Moreover, you’ll learn about the packet structure of IPv6 and extension headers, get familiar with DHCPv6. And towards the end of session you’ll hear more about some types of available transition mechanisms.
