Yannis Nikolopoulos - 2023-05-25 11:17:09

Evelien Schilder - 2023-05-25 11:17:44
(If it went too fast, here's link my colleague Tayfun just shared related to our request for input for the new Advanced IPv6 e-learning course we are developing: https://ripe-ncc.typeform.com/ipv6adv Thank you!)

Yannis Nikolopoulos - 2023-05-25 11:22:28
the CPE vendors can also do a very bad job

Yannis Nikolopoulos - 2023-05-25 11:26:29
the questions also have a 2010 vibe :D

Raymond Jetten - 2023-05-25 11:27:03
we have to close the queue...

Tim Chown - 2023-05-25 11:30:51
some ipv6 enterprise material from the recent uk council event - https://www.ipv6.org.uk/2023/02/03/enterprise-ipv6-workshop/

Raymond Jetten - 2023-05-25 11:32:23
Thanks Tim !

Jen Linkova - 2023-05-25 11:32:32
So how is it different from any other projects? ;)

Éric Vyncke - 2023-05-25 11:33:27
Because we love IPv6 and care about it ;-)

Raymond Jetten - 2023-05-25 11:34:58
it might be different, usually not even money for it

Henrik Kramselund - 2023-05-25 11:36:39
I think this presentation and idea to make it easier is spot on!

Éric Vyncke - 2023-05-25 11:38:45
+1

Éric Vyncke - 2023-05-25 11:39:32
Even if I prefer RFC 7404 for router-router link

Jen Linkova - 2023-05-25 11:39:41
Yep ;)

Éric Vyncke - 2023-05-25 11:40:34
Bogon to be updated for 2001:30:: (aka ORCHIDv3 for drones & co)

Henrik Kramselund - 2023-05-25 11:41:24
To make it easier there should perhaps be some download-bogons-and-convert.py package for getting the latest and output in a few common formats

Brian Storey - 2023-05-25 11:49:15
@Tim Chown - thanks for the link from the UK Council event.

Tim Chown - 2023-05-25 11:49:23
there is also the open ipv6 book brian is doing where this content would be good.

Raymond Jetten - 2023-05-25 11:49:29
we are closibng the mikes

Raymond Jetten - 2023-05-25 11:49:46
my keyboard, sorry

Éric Vyncke - 2023-05-25 11:53:18
About academia, free book a University of Louvain has one chapter on IPv6 https://www.computer-networking.info/ and AFAIK all examples are IPv6 ;-)

Éric Vyncke - 2023-05-25 11:54:41
And not sure whether Universities should follow enterprise demand or lead the wave...

Petra Zeidler - 2023-05-25 11:55:00
my employer wants to introduce IPv6 as soon as the work load on the available networkers drops to "reasonable" .. too many unfilled positions for the last N years

Henrik Kramselund - 2023-05-25 11:57:19
my email is hlk [at] kramse [dot] org and I would looooove more beginner friendly resources for networking

Éric Vyncke - 2023-05-25 12:16:15
RFC 9099 touches a little on those topics. Nice job Fernando to go deeper.

Éric Vyncke - 2023-05-25 12:22:03
And ICMP ACL is RFC 4890 as we all know
